KNX is the global standard for home and building control, followed by more than 95,000 partners in 190 countries. Each of the partners (including MyMight) must undergo a certification process to guarantee the quality of their use of KNX. It is a so-called bus solution to ensure communication between the different elements of the Internet of Things.
Moodbus TCP
The Modbus protocol for ensuring communication between various devices is mainly used in the industrial segment, but you would also find it in Samsung products. This communication protocol is based on a master/slave, or client/server architecture and is commonly used for communication with room controllers, e.g. for radiators.
HDL Buspro
HDL Buspro is currently the most commonly used communication protocol for the Internet of Things, thanks to which we can set up the integration of individual technologies and ensure smooth communication between them. How do you ensure the safety of Myjordomus solutions?
The bridge and Myjordomus mobile app communication with cloud-based services of our IoT platform is encrypted using certificates. We use PKI infrastructure (public key infrastructure).
Do we need to control everything manually, or can we set up automatic processes?
At the moment our IoT platform allows manual control only, but we are already working on automation of several of our key processes.
At what stage of construction (or reconstruction) Myjordomus needs to be installed?
You can set up Myjordomus after you install your technologies in the building. In the initial phase of construction or reconstruction you only need to select the technology for automation from the list of supported connectors.
When will the investment start to pay off?
Studies on this topic come with varying results, which can be caused by various factors – apps with multiple features, the operational character of tests, different definitions of various features, etc. Despite this, the results are fairly clear – smart control of buildings significantly increases the energetic efficiency of buildings.
